About OneCAD

neil Thomas - President

Neil oversees the general operation, sales and growth of OneCAD including directly handling all of our major client relationships. Neil has successfully developed OneCAD from a 1 man operation in 2004 to an 20 person engineering company in 2011.

Neil has an innate love of technology and has been a 3D CAD Designer since 1996. He has built OneCAD with the sense of doing what’s right for the client and with the determination that our clients must succeed before we do! Neil leads by example with a hands-on approach.

Paul Sesto - Business Manager

Paul gets new clients to OneCAD's front door. He is responsible for new business development, marketing & advertising and general administration. Paul has a B.Sc. and a B.A.Sc. (Mechanical Engineering). He ensures that everyone’s questions get an answer since customer service is his #1 priority.

Grace Qin - Accounting & HR

With an eye for detail and a keen business sense, Grace handles the accounting for OneCAD. The team can then concentrate delivering to our client’s technical needs. Grace has also taken on the responsiblies of human resources and is focused on building a strong OneCAD team.

Peter Li - Engineering Manager

Peter has both a mechanical engineering degree from Jilin University, China and a diploma in mechanical engineering design from Centennial College. With his design work experience and quick study of new systems, Peter is the leader of our Design Services Group. Peter is currently pursuing his Master of Engineering (part-time) at Ryerson University and is an Engineer in Training (EIT) with the PEO.

Ravi Peri - Mechanical Engineer (PEng)

Ravi has extensive experience from both India and Canada and acquired his Masters of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ryerson University in Toronto. Ravi completed his M.A.Sc thesis in mechanical vibration in a nuclear fuel bundle.

Charles Qiu- Engineering Designer

With a master of science in mechanical engineering and 18 years as a mechanical engineer, Charles adds a wealth of experience to the OneCAD team. He has a good knowledge of G.D.&T., standard ASME 14.5M and tolerance stack, as well as Material Numbering System AISI-SAE and ASTM. Charles is proficienct in NX, Solid Edge, Solidworks, Pro/Engineer and AutoCAD.

Zi Wang - Engineering Designer

Zi Wang has extensive automotive design experience and holds a masters in Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University in Montreal. She brings a wealth of Solidworks experience to the OneCAD team. Zi is also proficient in ProE, AutoCAD and Inventor.

Jean Ye - Engineering Designer

Jean Ye has over 18 years experience in CAD/CAE/CAM and was a Senior Technical Support Engineer for Siemens UGS PLM Software responsible for on going development on Solid Edge. Jean is a mentor to our Solid Edge team and has his Bachelors of Engineering & Physics.

Simon Zhu- Engineering Designer

With over 10 years of experience in mechanical & electronic system design, Simon also specializes in FEA (finite element analysis) and is a great addition to OneCAD's new FEA services. Simon holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Nitesh (Nick) Patel - CAD Technician

Nick has industry experience in mechanical CAD design with SolidWorks, Inventor and AutoCAD. He is currently completing his co-op requirements for his Mechanical Engineering Technology-Design Diploma from Centennial College, Toronto. He has a diploma as a Mechanical Engineering Technician from India as well as his CAD/CAM Technician diploma from Centennial College. Nick also has his Certified SolidWorks Professional Certification (CSWP).

Emma Liu - CAD Technician

With a Masters of Engineering in Mechanical & Electronic Engineering, Emma has over 10 year of experience in the mechanical manufacturing industry. She has mechanical design experience both in Canada and China.

Mei Li - CAD Technician

Mei has her Masters of Mechanical Engineering and over 10 years of experience in designing mechanical products, precision machine tools & components, sheet metal products and the application of CNC machine tools.

Paxton Cheng - Jr. Mechanical Technician

Paxton is a recent mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Windsor. He has already demonstrated his skill and abilities by assisting with new projects especially learning & creating a new video from 3D CAD data for one of our clients

Anjal Patel - CAD Technician

Anjal completed his bachelor of mechanical engineering at Gujarat University in India and his masters of mechanical engineering at the University of Waterloo. He has electromechanical design experience and is an EIT with the PEO. He has experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD and NX.

Fredrick Wang - CAD Technician

Fredrick has a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from the Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics and his masters of engineering from the University of Windsor. He has experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Cadkey & NX6.

Kenneth Wu - Engineering Designer

Kenneth has over 10 years of direct working experience in mechanical design and manufacturing. He works with SolidWorks, Solid Edge and AutoCAD and has knowledge of UG and Pro/E. Kenneth has a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering.

Lydia Wang - CAD Technician

Lydia has her masters degree in mechanical engineering from the Beijing University of Chemical Technology. She had 10 years of experience as a college teacher of AutoCAD & Solid Edge and engineering thermodynamics. She has over 6 years of working experience with 3D design and also knows NX.

Roy Kuang - CAD Technician

Roy has his Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering in mechanical design, manufacturing & automation. He has over 8 years of experience in mechanical design including machine design experience with hydraulics & pneumatics.

Jessica Peng - CAD Technician

Jessica has over 7 years of experience working as a CAD Drafter/Modeller and is comfortable with both SolidWorks & AutoCAD. She is also familiar with P&ID and civil drafting. Jessica has a background in mathematics.

Cathy Yu- CAD Technician

Cathy has over 20 years of experience in mechanical design. She has her Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering from the Beijing Institute of Clothing Technology and her Diploma in Electromechanical Engineering Technology - Automation & Robotics from Centennial College in Scarborough, ON.

Renbo Yang- CAD Technician

Renbo has more than 10 years of manufacturing equipment design experience in both Canada and China. He has a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering (Machining Process & Equipment) from Tianjin University, China.

Raymond Li - Electrical CAD Technician

Raymond has over 11 years of work experience in industrial automation system projects being responsible for design, development, installation, configuration, commissioning, and integration of solutions for control systems. He has his Masters of Engineering in Electronic & Communication from Dailian University of Technology, China and his Bachelors of Engineering in Industrial Electrical Automation from Dalian Jiaotong University, China.

Richard Tao - Electrical CAD Technician

Richard has over 5 years of electrical drafting experience with consulting service organizations and he has experience with both AutoCAD and Microstation. He has his Bachelors of Engineering in Industrial Automation from the University of Science & Technology, Beijing, China.

Nang Khing- Electrical CAD Technician

A very enthusiastic new grad with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering Control Systems from Humber College Institute of Technology, Nang has already proven herself on her 1st on-site assignment.
