Junior Engineering Technologist

We are looking to hire a Junior Engineering Technologist; primary responsibilities will be using CAD software on-site for OneCAD Solutions Ltd clients.

Experience

A Graduate Mechanical Engineering student or technologist with an aptitude for 3D CAD design, previous Solid Edge or Solidworks experience would be an asset. Additional training will be provided by OneCAD Solutions Ltd.

Requirements

Candidates will be assessed on the following skills:

Familiarity with Microsoft O/S (Win2k, WinNT, WinXP Pro), MS/Office products and related hardware devices (MCSE a plus)
Any experience with downstream applications (CAM, FEA, PDM...) is a plus.
Some 2-D experience
Excellent analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
Understanding of Engineering and mechanical design processes and terms.
Understanding of 3D Solids Modeling processes.
Mechanical design, Industrial design or tooling design experiences a plus.
Superb interpersonal skills and team player mentality.
Presents a professional image and comes across as confident and credible.
Excellent time management, written communication and organizational skills.
